How to sell an item faster?
The first thing buyers see are the photos. Here are some tips on how to take the best photos.
A. Wear your item or hang it on a hanger so that it is properly presented.
B. Choose a simple and preferably plain background to make your article stand out.
C. Make sure you have good lighting and use daylight to reflect the true colour of your item.
D. Take several pictures to show your article from different angles.
Apart from the photos, the price is also an important element for potential buyers.
How to set a good price?
In order to maximize your chances of selling your item, it is important to set a price that corresponds to the condition of your item. You can consult the following table to see our suggested prices for your items:

General information
Are there any charges on Frippie?
As a seller, what you earn is yours. On Frippie you sell for free.
On the other hand, a tax of 10%, which is integrated into the sales price, is collected when a purchase is made. This tax is mainly used to cover the commission charged by our payment provider (PostFinance Checkout) on each transaction made on Frippie. It is also used to pay our teams who make sure that you can benefit from a secure payment. Indeed, your payment is kept in deposit until the validation of the receipt of the purchase. This represents an important workload for our teams who manage all this manually. Finally, it is used to collect the funds necessary for the regular evolution of the site, to add new features according to your requests.
Why can't I use Frippie if I'm not 18 years old and/or don't live in Switzerland?
Under Swiss law, a minor does not have the right to exercise civil rights (Art. 13 and 14 CC). He/she is therefore not entitled to conclude contracts (of sale or purchase), except with the consent of his/her legal representative (art. 19 al. 1 CC). If you are under 18 years of age and you do not have the consent of your legal representative and you still use the services of Frippie, you are exposed to the possibility that your sales and purchases can be cancelled and that you are forced to return the goods.
My Account
I have opened an account/ordered but have not received a confirmation email?
Check your spam, sometimes our emails are in it. If this is not the case, contact us on WhatsApp or by e-mail.
I would like to change the e-mail address and/or password associated with my account. How do I do this?
To change your password, just click on "Forgot your password?" on the login page. An e-mail will be sent to you to reset your password.
If you want to change your email address, contact us on Whatsapp or by email with your current email address and the one you want to change it to. We will make the change for you.
Orders and payments
How do I know if the seller/buyer has sent my item/validated receipt?
When a seller makes a sale on Frippie he is alerted by e-mail. He then has a period of 3 working days to send his parcel or to hand it in personally. When this step is completed, he must validate it by going to his shop and clicking on "process my order".
Similarly, when a buyer receives his article, he has 48 hours to validate the good reception of his purchase. The buyer will receive an email when the seller has processed his order and must click on the link that appears to validate his order (using a mini-form).
As soon as we receive the proof of receipt we will initiate payment to the seller.

I have sent my package, the tracking confirms that it was delivered but I have not received my payment?
Buyers have 48 hours to confirm receipt of their purchase. If this time has passed, and you still haven't received an email about your payment, send us a copy of the proof of shipment with the tracking number clearly readable on Whatsapp or by email specifying the sale number. If we can verify that the package has been delivered correctly and that the buyer's approval period has ended, we will proceed with your payment.
How do I confirm receipt of my item?
You will receive an email when the seller has processed your order and it is ready for shipping/hand delivery. A link will allow you to confirm receipt of your item once the order is received.
Refunds
I paid for my order, but the seller hasn't sent my package/doesn't answer me?
Les vendeurs disposent d’un délai de 3 jours ouvrés pour expédier leur envoi. Si ce délai est dépassé, et que tu n’as toujours pas reçu d’e-mail, tu peux nous contacter sur Whatsapp ou par e-mail pour que nous puissions t'aider. Si le vendeur ne donne aucune réponse et/ou que le colis n'est pas expédié dans un délai de 10 jours ouvrés maximum (sauf en cas d'accord entre les deux parties, i.e. le vendeur et l'acheteur), alors nous te rembourserons ton achat selon le moyen de paiement utilisé.
The item I received does not conform to its description. What can I do about it?
Frippie is not responsible for the conformity of the items although we do our best to check all the ads published on the site. Therefore, we recommend that you always check the availability and/or the truthfulness of the ad with the seller before proceeding with the purchase. No refund will be given for dissatisfaction.
Postal items
How are shipping costs calculated?
The Post Office defines the price of a shipment according to its weight. We therefore proceed in the same way. For more information about postal shipments, please visit our dedicated page.
